The Black Box KVT419A-8UV-R2 is a space-saving solution combining an 8-port KVM switch, a 17″ LCD monitor (1280×1024), and a full keyboard/touchpad in a sliding 1U drawer. When closed, it fits flush in a standard 19-inch rack. When needed, the drawer slides out, the screen flips up, and you have instant local access to 8 servers. The integrated KVM supports VGA video and USB/PS2 connections via dongles. It also includes a rear console port for connecting an external monitor or an IP dongle for remote access. This unit is essential for data centers needing reliable local access.
