Description
The Black Box ACU5250A-R2 is a point-to-point KVM extender that solves the distance limitations of standard DVI cables. It extends DVI-D video, keyboard, mouse, and USB 2.0 signals (for touchscreens or flash drives) up to 100 meters (330 feet) using a single CAT5e/6/7 cable. The transmitter connects to the computer, the receiver sits at the workstation, and both units are powered by local power supplies. The extender features EDID learning to ensure the computer outputs the correct resolution. It is ideal for extending desktops to noisy factory floors, digital signage in large buildings, or classroom computers.
