It supports pixel-perfect HD DisplayPort video up to 1920×1080 with lossless compression, making it ideal for medical imaging, control rooms, and media-rich applications. The unit provides transparent USB 2.0 support for HID devices, mass storage, and isochronous peripherals like webcams, plus stereo audio. Dual network ports (RJ45 Gigabit and SFP) offer fail-safe 24/7 operation, ensuring connectivity even if one network link fails . Emerald PE can be deployed as a simple point-to-point extender over CATx up to 100 meters or scaled infinitely by adding endpoints across an enterprise network.
