Description
The Black Box ICU504A is the industry’s first USB 3.1 Gen 1 extender, providing USB speeds 10x faster than any USB 2.0 extender on the market . It extends USB 3.1 signals at 5 Gbps up to 100 meters over a single CAT6a or CAT7 cable. The remote unit features four auto-negotiating USB 3.2, 2.0, and 1.1 ports, allowing connection of a wide range of USB devices including cameras, storage drives, and printers. A unique Ethernet side channel provides 100M/1000M LAN pass-through, enabling users to leverage existing network infrastructure without running dedicated cable for USB extension. The extender is plug-and-play, requiring no drivers to load on the host computer, and works with Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS.
