Description
The Black Box KVT417A-8UV-R2 is a ServTray series KVM LCD console that combines a 17″ LCD panel, full 105-key keyboard, touchpad, and an 8-port VGA KVM switch module into a space-saving 1U rack drawer . The single-rail design allows the entire unit to slide out as one assembly, providing a sturdy workstation for server management. The LCD panel supports resolutions up to 1280×1024 at 60Hz and includes on-screen display controls for adjusting brightness, contrast, and screen resolution. The integrated KVM switch supports VGA video and either USB or PS/2 keyboard and mouse connections, with support for Sun native resolutions for multi-platform functionality. An autosensing 100-240VAC power supply powers both the console and switch module. The universal rear rail kit accommodates rack depths from 23.7″ to 45.3″, ensuring compatibility with most server cabinets. When not in use, the front panel conceals the unit for a clean, professional appearance .
