Description

The Black Box NBSALL8MGR is a Pro Switching System 8-port A/B switch designed for mission-critical network failover applications. This 1U rackmount switch features eight RJ45 A/B switch ports, allowing each Common port to be connected to either an A or B network device. The unit supports all eight pins on the RJ45 connector, enabling true Gigabit Ethernet switching without signal degradation. A momentary toggle switch provides local control, while a key-lockable gang switching feature allows all eight ports to be switched simultaneously with a single action. The rear panel includes eight Common ports, eight A ports, eight B ports, dual redundant power inputs, an RS-232 serial console port for command-line control, and a 10BASE-T Ethernet port for remote management. The unit uses telecommunications-grade relays that latch the A/B position, maintaining the selected connection even during power loss.
