Description
The Black Box C6ABC51S-BK-1000 is a 1000-foot spool of GigaTrue CAT6A shielded (F/UTP) plenum cable in black, identical in construction to its red counterpart. Designed for 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-T) installations, this cable features 23 AWG solid bare copper conductors, foil shielding with drain wire, and an internal center isolation member that maintains pair separation. The F/UTP shield provides protection against alien crosstalk and external EMI, making it suitable for high-noise environments and high-density patching. The plenum (CMP) fire rating allows installation in air-handling spaces, meeting strict building codes for smoke and flame spread. The cable is tested to 650MHz, exceeding CAT6A requirements, and is TIA-568-C.2 compliant. The black color is ideal for installations where cable color coding is required for identification or where a neutral appearance is desired .
