Description

The Black Box ACX1004A-HID2 is a TC Series 4-port KM (keyboard/mouse) switch designed for trading desks, surveillance operations, and command and control environments where operators need to control multiple computers with independent monitors. This compact desktop switch features four USB Type-B computer ports and two USB HID Type-A console ports for keyboard and mouse connection. The Glide-and-Switch feature enables cursor-based switching: simply move the mouse cursor off the edge of one monitor to instantly switch control to the adjacent computer, providing an intuitive multi-computer experience similar to multi-monitor setups. Alternatively, users can switch using programmable keyboard hotkeys or front-panel push buttons. The switch includes four RJ22 jacks for optional activity LEDs, a Mini USB port for firmware upgrades, and 5VDC power input. The compact 5.79″ W x 1.69″ H chassis can be used on a desktop or mounted in a 19-inch rack using the optional ACS1009A-RMK kit .
