Description

The Black Box LPB3028A is a fully managed PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet switch featuring 24 10/100/1000Base-T PoE+ ports and 4 1G/10G SFP+ uplink ports . This 1U rackmount switch delivers a total PoE budget of 370 watts, capable of powering IEEE 802.3af PoE and 802.3at PoE+ compliant devices such as wireless access points, security cameras, VoIP phones, and remote sensors. The switch offers comprehensive management capabilities including SNMP versions 1, 2c, and 3, RMON groups 1-9, web-based management via an integral web server, and CLI access. Advanced features include VLAN support (port-based, 802.1Q tag-based, or MAC-based), 802.1p Layer 2 QoS for traffic prioritization, 802.1X port-based network access control, and 10-GE uplinks for increased backplane capacity . The switch features IEEE 802.3az energy-efficient Ethernet, which scales down power consumption during periods of low data activity for up to 50% energy savings, plus cable length detection that adjusts signal strength to cable length.
