Description
The Black Box EMD2000SE-T-R2 is a single-head Emerald SE series KVM-over-IP transmitter that connects to a source computer’s DVI-D output and USB ports, encoding the signals for transmission over standard IP networks . It delivers Full HD DVI-D video resolutions up to 1920×1200 with transparent USB 2.0 support for HID devices, mass storage, and isochronous peripherals, plus stereo audio. The unit features a single link DVI-D input and four USB 2.0 ports for connecting to the source computer. Emerald SE supports both physical and virtual machines via RDP, RemoteFX, and PCoIP, with sub-second switching across connected sources . The system is infinitely scalable, from a single extender to an enterprise-wide matrix managed by Boxilla central manager. This transmitter is perfect for keeping source computers secure in data centers while providing remote access to users anywhere on the network.
