Description
The Black Box KV0004A-R2 is a Freedom II series 4-port KM (keyboard/mouse) switch that allows a single user to control up to 4 computers using a single keyboard and mouse while sharing USB peripherals. Unlike traditional KVM switches, this unit does not switch video, allowing each computer to connect to its own monitor while sharing the keyboard, mouse, and other USB devices. The Glide & Switch feature enables cursor-based switching: simply move the mouse cursor off the edge of one monitor and onto another to instantly switch control. The rear panel features four USB Type-B computer ports, two USB HID console ports for keyboard and mouse, USB 2.0 ports for shared peripherals, and an RJ45 network configuration port. This unit is ideal for financial trading desks and command and control centers.
