Description

The Black Box KVXLC-100-R2 is a KVX Series KVM extender that transmits DVI-D video, transparent USB 2.0, and audio over standard CAT5e/6 cable up to 328 feet (100 meters). This extender supports DVI-D video resolutions up to 1920×1200 at 60Hz, delivering pixel-perfect video with no compression or latency. The KVXLC-100-R2 uses a single CAT5e/6 cable for transmission, simplifying installation and reducing cable clutter. The unit provides transparent USB 2.0 support for HID devices, mass storage devices, and other peripherals, plus RS-232 serial and bi-directional analog audio extension. The transmitter features a local video loop-out port for monitoring at the source, allowing a second monitor at the computer location. The receiver provides two USB 2.0 ports for keyboard and mouse connectivity. The KVXLC-100-R2 can be mounted using the optional KVXLC-RMK rackmount tray.
