The Black Box ICI207A is a 7-port industrial-grade USB 2.0 hub designed for factory, utility, engineering, and even healthcare applications where reliability in harsh conditions is critical . This rugged hub features high-retention USB ports that require a hefty 3.4 pounds of force to disconnect, ensuring cables stay firmly connected even in high-vibration environments. The hub is UL listed for use in Class 1 Division 2 hazardous areas and has been tested for 50G shock and 4G vibration tolerance . The unit provides high electrostatic discharge protection (Level 4, 15 kV air, 8 kV contact) to prevent ESD damage to connected devices, and operates over an extreme temperature range of -40° to +176° F (-40° to +80° C). The hub supports USB speeds up to 480 Mbps and is compatible with USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 devices. It can be bus-powered or use an external power supply (PS290 sold separately) . The plug-and-play design requires no drivers to load, and the MTBF is rated at 211,773 hours .
