Description
The Black Box JPM816A is a 48-port CAT6 shielded feed-through patch panel designed for high-density network patching in 19-inch racks . Unlike the 1U JPM816A-HD, this panel occupies 2U of rack space (8.9 cm height) and includes two detachable cable management bars for supporting and organizing cables attached to the rear of the panel. The feed-through design eliminates the need for punch-down tools, allowing technicians to simply snap patch cables into the front and rear RJ-45 connectors for quick and easy installations. The shielded connectors provide protection against EMI/RFI interference, making this panel suitable for data centers and communications cabinets where signal integrity is critical. The panel meets Category 6 performance requirements and is TAA compliant . The package includes the patch panel, two cable management bars, mounting screws (10-32 and 12-24), a drain wire, and a user manual.
