The Black Box IC402A-R2 is a USB 2.0 extender that transmits USB signals over standard CATx cable up to 100 meters (328 feet), far exceeding the 5-meter USB cable limit. The remote unit features two USB Type-A ports, each providing up to 750mA of power for connected devices. This extender supports all USB device types including control, interrupt, bulk, and isochronous devices at speeds up to 480 Mbps. True plug-and-play operation requires no driver installation, making it compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS. The compact local and remote modules are housed in durable enclosures with mounting points for desktop or under-desk installation.
