Description

The Black Box KV04U-REM is a CX Series KVM remote user station that allows users to interface with a CX KVM Matrix Switch or connect directly to a CX Server Access Module for point-to-point KVM extension up to 980 feet away . The user station sits at the workstation and directly connects to a VGA monitor and USB keyboard and mouse, providing complete console access to remote computers. The extender supports video resolutions up to 1920×1200 when used with CATx cable less than 150 feet, though longer cable runs will result in lower resolutions (1280×1024 at the full 980-foot distance) . The unit does not support RGB skew compensation; users requiring that feature should consider the KV04AS-REM or KV04AUS-REM models. The KV04U-REM includes a 5VDC 2.5A power supply and comes with a 2-Year Double Diamond Warranty.
