Description
The Black Box ACS2100A is a VGA DDC Ghost that prevents boot problems caused by missing DDC/EDID information in KVM switching and video extension systems. This compact device reads EDID information from the attached screen and stores it in non-volatile memory, ensuring that the graphics card always sees the correct display settings even when switching between different monitors or when the monitor is not directly connected. The ACS2100A supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 and is ideal for all applications not providing DDC/EDID information. It can be installed between a graphics card and a switching or extension system, or can use its built-in DDC emulation table. This device is ideal for digital signage, multimedia, or KVM switching systems with mixed analog and digital video, as well as for newer monitors supporting only a few high-resolution formats. It also works with plasma screens.
