Description
The Black Box AC1038A is an active DVI-D to VGA converter that performs all the digital-to-analog conversions needed to connect a DVI-D output from a computer to a VGA monitor or projector . The converter features built-in “virtual DDC” technology that takes VGA analog DDC signals and converts them to DVI digital DDC signals to support the most popular resolutions. The unit supports VGA resolutions up to 1920×1200 with a video bandwidth of 170MHz and operates within a horizontal scan range of 22-95 kHz and vertical range of 48-90 Hz. Installation is simple: switch off all devices, connect the DVI-D CPU source and a VGA monitor to the converter, plug in the included 5-VDC power supply, and power it up. The compact unit measures 2.5H x 5.1W x 8.3D cm and weighs only 0.1 kg. The package includes the converter, 5-VDC universal power supply, 1.8-meter DVI-D/DVI-D video cable, and user manual.
