The Black Box AC555A-R2 is a CATx VGA extender kit that allows you to place a VGA monitor up to 150 meters (492 feet) away from a computer using a single CAT5, CAT5e, or CAT6 cable . This extender kit includes a local module that connects to the source computer and a remote module that sits at the workstation with the display. The VGA extender supports resolutions up to 1024 x 768 at the maximum distance, and the remote module includes a gain adjustment control to optimize image quality for any cable length . The remote module provides two HD15 VGA outputs, allowing connection of two monitors at the remote location. LED indicators on both modules show power and active status.
