The Black Box AVX-DVI-TP-100M is an XR (eXtended Range) DVI-D extender that enables you to place a digital DVI screen up to 330 feet (100 meters) away from your video source using a single CAT5e/6/7 cable . This transmitter-receiver combo supports both HDTV resolutions up to 1080p and VESA standards up to 1920 x 1200, delivering high-quality video without compromising signal integrity over long distances. The extender integrates stereo analog audio into the CATx cable extension, eliminating the need for a separate audio cable. Additionally, it transmits bidirectional RS-232 TXD and RXD control signals, allowing you to use serial commands from a PC to control RS-232 equipment or turn a remote screen on and off to save energy . The AVX-DVI-TP-100M is HDCP compliant and Blu-ray ready, supporting EDID and HDCP bypass so you can extend protected content. Auto equalization ensures consistent video quality across the extended range, and the wall-mountable receiver allows for flexible installation. No software or driver installation is required, and the extender complies with the DVI 1.0 standard.
