Description
The Black Box C6ABC51S-RD-1000 is a 1000-foot spool of GigaTrue CAT6A shielded (F/UTP) plenum cable in red, designed for 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-T) installations requiring alien crosstalk (ANEXT) elimination. The cable features 23 AWG solid bare copper conductors, foil shielding with drain wire for EMI/RFI protection, and an internal cross separator that maintains pair separation for optimal NEXT performance. The F/UTP construction includes an overall aluminum/Mylar tape shield that provides excellent protection against external interference, making it ideal for high-density data centers, industrial environments, and installations near power cables. The plenum (CMP) rating means the cable’s jacket is formulated to produce low smoke and low flame spread, meeting fire codes for installation in air-handling spaces such as drop ceilings and raised floors. The cable is tested to 650MHz, exceeding CAT6A standards, and is TIA-568-C.2 compliant .
