Description
The Black Box EMD100USB is an Emerald series USB 2.0 switchable extender that allows you to extend and switch USB signals between two computers over CATx cable. The unit features four USB Type-A ports for connecting USB devices, and an RJ45 network port for connection to the other extender unit. It supports USB 2.0 high-speed transfers up to 480 Mbps and delivers up to 600 mA to downstream USB devices. The extender automatically switches when connected to an Emerald KVM system, providing seamless USB device sharing. It is ideal for industrial control, classroom, and meeting room applications where USB devices need to be shared between multiple computers.
