The Black Box EMD2002SE-R is a dual-head Emerald SE series KVM-over-IP receiver that decodes video streams from Emerald transmitters over standard IP networks. This receiver supports dual-head video output up to 4K resolution with visually lossless compression, providing pixel-perfect image quality for demanding applications. The unit features dual network interfaces (RJ45 Gigabit and SFP fiber slot) for fail-safe 24/7 operation, allowing connection via two alternative direct links or two independent networks. The Emerald SE system can be deployed as a simple point-to-point extender over CATx up to 100 meters or scaled infinitely by adding endpoints across an enterprise network. The receiver provides transparent USB 2.0 support for HID devices, mass storage, and isochronous peripherals, plus stereo audio and RS-232 serial extension. Centralized management is available via the receiver’s on-screen display or Boxilla hardware appliance.
