The Black Box IC408A-R2 is a 4-port USB 2.0 extender that allows you to extend USB connections beyond the standard 5-meter limitation using CATx cable or existing LAN infrastructure . This extender supports all USB device types including control, interrupt, bulk, and isochronous transfers at speeds up to 480 Mbps. The remote unit features four USB Type-A ports for connecting printers, scanners, hard drives, touch screens, webcams, and other peripherals. True plug-and-play operation requires no driver installation, making it compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
