Description
The Black Box KV9008A is an 8-port KVM switch that allows a single user to control up to eight computers from one console using VGA video and USB keyboard and mouse connections. This switch supports high VGA resolutions, making it suitable for server rooms, test labs, and IT administration. Switching between connected servers is flexible, allowing users to select ports via front-panel push buttons, keyboard hotkeys, or the auto-scan function which cycles through servers at user-defined intervals. The switch is operating-system independent, transparent to all applications, and requires no software installation. The KV9008A is ideal for small to medium server rooms where space is at a premium, and can be used on a desktop or mounted in a rack.
