The Black Box KVS4-2004HVX is a NIAP Protection Profile 4.0 certified secure KVM switch designed for high-security government, military, and defense environments where data isolation is critical. This 4-port switch features FlexPort connectors that support either HDMI or DisplayPort inputs, providing flexibility for connecting various video sources. The unit includes dedicated USB ports for keyboard, mouse, and Common Access Card (CAC) readers, plus audio switching. Strict hardware isolation prevents data leakage between connected computers through any path – video, USB, or audio. The switch incorporates anti-tamper switches, holographic tamper-evident seals, fixed non-reprogrammable firmware, and automatic keyboard data clearing to prevent information transfer. An external power supply with locking connector ensures the unit remains powered and secure. The KVS4-2004HVX supports video resolutions up to 4K and is TAA compliant, making it suitable for SCIFs, military command posts, financial trading floors, and any environment requiring secure switching between networks at different classification levels .
