Description

The Black Box KVXLCDP-100 is a KVX Series high-performance KVM extender that transmits DisplayPort video, transparent USB 2.0, and audio over standard CATx cable up to 328 feet (100 meters). This extender supports UHD 4K resolutions up to 3840×2160 at 30Hz, delivering pixel-perfect video with no compression or latency. The KVXLCDP-100 uses a single CAT5e/6/7 cable for transmission, simplifying installation and reducing cable clutter. The unit provides high-speed transparent USB 2.0 support for mass storage devices, webcams, and other isochronous peripherals, plus RS-232 serial and analog audio extension. The transmitter features a local video loop-out port for monitoring at the source, while the receiver provides two USB 2.0 ports for keyboard and mouse connectivity. Intelligent EDID management reduces monitor compatibility issues by cloning the display’s EDID to the source computer. The KVXLCDP-100 can be mounted using the optional KVXLC-RMK rackmount tray.
