Description
The Black Box LGB5124A-R2 is a high-performance Layer 2 managed switch designed for fiber-intensive LAN access networks. It features 20 100/1000-Mbps SFP fiber ports and 4 dual-media 100/1000-Mbps SFP/twisted-pair ports, providing exceptional flexibility for connecting various fiber and copper devices. This switch supports advanced switching capabilities including Link Aggregate Control Protocol (LACP) with up to 12 groups of 8 ports per group, extensive Quality of Service (QoS) with 8 hardware queues for traffic prioritization, and robust VLAN capabilities for network segmentation. The switch is fully manageable via CLI through its RS-232 serial port or web-based management over Ethernet.
