Description

The Black Box KV0424A-R2 is a 1U rack-mountable KVM switch that connects to 24 servers using standard CAT5/6 cabling up to 140 meters (460 feet) away. Each server connects via a simple Server Access Module (sold separately), which converts the local video, keyboard, and mouse signals to CATx. This eliminates bulky KVM cable bundles. The switch supports high-resolution video (up to 1920×1200) and features flash-upgradeable firmware. It supports a cascade configuration to control up to 136 servers. The on-screen display (OSD) and front-panel buttons allow quick selection between connected servers.
