Description
The Black Box LES1516A is an advanced console server designed for IT administrators who need secure access to network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) even when the primary network is down. It features 16 RS-232 serial ports to connect to console ports of devices, plus dual Gigabit Ethernet ports for failover and a USB port for cellular modem failback. The unit runs a hardened Linux OS and supports SSHv2, TACACS+, RADIUS, and LDAP for authentication. With logging to internal memory, USB, or Syslog server, the LES1516A ensures you always have a “last mile” connection to your critical infrastructure.
