Description

The Black Box LGB2126A is a 26-port Layer 2 web smart switch designed for growing office networks that need advanced management capabilities without the complexity of enterprise CLI configuration . This 1U rackmount switch features 24 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 ports and 2 combo SFP slots that can be populated with optional fiber transceivers for short-, medium-, or long-distance fiber-optic connections. The switch offers browser-based management, allowing network administrators to monitor, configure, and control each port’s activity via a standard web browser . It supports SNMP V1/V2c for integration with network management systems. Advanced features include Quality of Service (QoS) with Layer 2 802.1p priority queue control and enhanced QoS support for real-time applications like VoIP, plus Layer 4 TCP/UDP port and ToS classification . The switch supports port mirroring for traffic monitoring and troubleshooting, tag- and port-based VLAN for traffic isolation and security, and IGMP V1/V2 snooping to limit multicast traffic. Port trunking enables combining up to 12 ports per trunk with up to 8 trunking groups for switch-to-switch cascading at very fast full-duplex speeds . All ports feature auto-negotiation, auto-MDI/MDI-X, IEEE 802.x flow control for full-duplex, and collision-based backpressure for half-duplex.
