The Black Box LHC018A-AC-R2 is a MultiPower rackmount power tray designed to house and power up to 18 MultiPower Miniature Media Converters in a centralized 5U rackmount chassis . This power tray eliminates the need for individual power supplies for each converter, reducing cable clutter and simplifying power management in data center and network room environments. The unit features an internal AC power supply (100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz) and can deliver up to 96 watts when fully loaded . The chassis is designed to work with MultiPower media converters such as the LGC135A-R3, which can be easily inserted into the tray for power. This solution is ideal for high-density fiber-to-copper conversion deployments where multiple converters are needed in a single location. The LHC018A-AC-R2 is the rackmount companion for the MultiPower series, providing a professional, organized alternative to scattered standalone converters with individual wall adapters.
