Description

The Black Box LPR1111 is a 1-port PoE+ Ethernet repeater that acts as a PoE extender, enabling you to extend PoE connections beyond the standard 100-meter Ethernet CATx limit to access faraway PoE devices such as WiFi access points and IP cameras. This repeater passes along both data and power, so it needs no separate power supply; use one repeater for an additional 100 meters reach or daisy-chain up to five repeaters in a link for ranges up to 600 meters (approximately 2000 feet). Each PoE extender provides one 10-/100-/1000-Mbps PD (Powered Device) input port and one 10-/100-/1000-Mbps PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) output port. The unit delivers IEEE 802.3af standard power, making it excellent for VoIP phone systems, remote access points, and IP cameras. It works with both 802.3af POE and 802.3at POE+ and features auto MDI/MDI-X, eliminating the need for crossover cables. The LPR1111 is CE, FCC Class A, and RoHS approved, with an operating temperature range of -10° to +50° C.
