Description

The Black Box SS2P-DH-DVI-U is a NIAP Protection Profile version 3.0 certified secure KVM switch designed for high-security environments where data isolation between computers is critical. This 2-port switch features dual DVI-D video inputs supporting resolutions up to 2560×1600, dedicated USB ports for keyboard and mouse, and Common Access Card (CAC) reader support for government applications. The switch employs isolated channels to ensure that data is not leaked between secure ports and the outside world, supporting uni-directional data flow from computer to peripheral to prevent eavesdropping attempts. Mechanical, electrical, and optical isolation stop hacking and data leaks in environments where security is paramount. The switch features secure EDID learning to prevent unwanted and unsecure data from being transmitted through DDC lines, non-reprogrammable ROM to keep intruders from re-programming or reading the firmware, and keyboard/internal cache wiping for enhanced security. Anti-tamper switches and tamper-evident seals provide chassis intrusion protection.
