Description
The Black Box VX-HDMI-HDIP-TX is a MediaCento HDIP series HDMI over IP transmitter that encodes HDMI video, audio, and USB signals from a source computer for transmission over standard Gigabit Ethernet networks. This transmitter supports HD video resolutions with visually lossless compression, delivering crystal-clear video quality for digital signage and AV distribution applications. The unit features an HDMI input for connection to the source computer, a local HDMI loop-out port for monitoring at the source, and USB ports for keyboard, mouse, and other HID devices. The RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port provides network connectivity, and an optional SFP fiber slot allows for fiber uplinks. The transmitter supports both unicast and multicast configurations, enabling point-to-point extension or multi-display distribution to multiple receivers.
