The APC SYIM3 Main Intelligent Module is the central management and control unit for Symmetra UPS power frames. This module, designed by Schneider Electric, is the “brain” of the Symmetra system, responsible for coordinating the functions of all power, battery, and intelligence modules. It provides critical features such as remote power monitoring, fault logging, control functions, and communication through protocols like SNMP. Its presence is essential for centralized management and integration into Network Management Systems (NMS).
